Im just wondering can the game detect what GPU that you are using? if so then the game should remove or grey out ULQ settings for those who has a decent enough GPU. I'd gladly trade off some of my already average performance for a better looking game. I'd gladly play their games, it doesn't look like he has any worse vision than me in most maps and positions, but he enjoys the beautiful graphics and renders of the tanks. Myself personally, I gush over the amazing graphics that people like Napalmratte, Slick, and Phly show off. This works far more often than people expect, these 'lucky' impossible shots. I sometimes get shot from behind forested areas, but I can also tell that there are gaps from where the shot flew that one can tell I was there.Īnother deal is, if you catch so much as a glimpse of a tank, you can simply quickly guestimate their position and take a rough lead on their general direction. I only have decent vision when in the optics view, which means I always die instantly to a tank that could easily see me. Returning fire effectively in that situation is difficult.Īswell, the lack of render resolution means I see absolute darkness on night-based tank maps. In many cases, all I see is a small block or darker area that I have to try and place my grid on. Aswell, tanks peeking out with just their turret over hills is especially difficult to deal with. Any position I take that has over 1km distance, is usually a position anyone else on any graphics could use such as the ridgeline of Sinai or the A and B hills on Kursk.Īs I mentioned, sometimes I can't even pick out tanks because their render resolution is so poor I can't tell if they're a rock or destroyed tank. At some distances and depending on where a tank sits, they can even completely de-render. In many cases, I feel I miss tanks, purely because of my poor performance. With the latest ULQ, the bushes obstruct your view quite well. With the resolution at 1366x768 and Graphics at ULQ, I average 35-50 FPS on GFRB, and the FPS spread is so wide because really intensive explosions and machine cannon fire in heavy concentration ruins me, and creates stutter. I'm a ULQ player, but I have a potato PC. Sometimes the person has good pc but uses ultra low to take advantage over other player's this very unfair. How can in 2018 the person want to play with a pc of 1994 will buy a pc that provides, here in Brazil is expensive but there in the US and Europe are very cheap. I am console player I always suffer with this and much advantage that can configure your graphics, be killed by a tank in the middle of a forest full of bush being me impossible to see and being he sees me quietly this is ridiculous. Is it possible somehow to not give that possibility to play ultra low graphism in R.B.? to have some kind of minimum settings for trees, bushes you can't lower, or R.B. bonuses, and set in purpose their Graphism to ultra low to grab quick R.P.'s, this is just killing R.B. and still give to some dudes the possibility to play without bushes or trees on a flat terrain, its just removing completely the R.B. realism in that case is just gone, it doesn't make any sense to have improved graphism with new some new visuals toys etc. and this kind of behaviour is not possible no more, the R.B. we have players who set their graphics as low possible to destroy units from far away land though bushes, forest, etc. fan because of the thrill i don't have in arcade, but in R.B. Ultra low quality settings is a big problem in R.B.
